Meet Director, Clay Reeves

Clay is the President, Director and Instructor of Clay's Tumbling and Cheer. She has 40 years of tumbling and cheerleading experience. She is a graduate of Layton High School (LHS) and holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Physical Education from Weber State University (WSU) as well as a Secondary Education degree and a Master's Degree in Physical Education. For years she focused on coaching teams at the competition level and now her focus is on technique classes. She now instructs tumbling and cheerleading classes, as well as gives private lessons.

  • Awarded the State Scholarship in Dance to Tampa Civic Ballet Company
  • Cheerleader for 9 years, with 2 years in Jr. High, 3 years in High School and 4 years on a Head Cheerleader Scholarshp at WSU
  • Gymnastics training at Florida Academy of Florida State University
  • Taught by WSU coach Diane Whitely and by Don Buell for 4 years
  • President of gymnastics team, 1st place champion at LHS and WSU for 3 years
  • Western Regional Gymnastic Floor EX Champion — Pueblo, Colorado
  • National and State Gymnastic Judge (F.I.T.) Certified
  • Certified aerobic instructor of Fitness America and Body Success for 7 years
  • Local cheerleading judge and national drill team judge
  • High school teacher for 3 years at LHS (1979-1982)
